First, Install and launch Pavtube DVD Ripper and if you don't have the setup program, you can download it here. Follow onscreen instructions to finish the installation.

Second, insert DVD to DVD ROM and import DVD movie to files list of Pavtube DVD Ripper. 

Third, choose an output format; if you choose, you can do detailed settings by clicking the button of "Settings" according to your need. 
 

Fourth, you can also do customized settings, such as cropping the image, trimming the video and adjusting effects. 

Besides, you can select a few items and merge them into one file through ticking "Merge into one file".
During the process of previewing, you can take snapshots of your favorite scene.

Fifth, hit the right bottom button "Convert" to start converting.
